POLICE: Attended Appleby at the weekend
TWO drivers were slapped with fines for ‘unacceptable levels of noise from their exhausts’ in Appleby at the weekend.
Police officers from Eden’s Road Safety Team attended the town following complaints from residents regarding ‘excessive noise from car exhausts.’
A force spokesman said: “Two cars were stopped with unacceptable levels of noise from their exhaust, the drivers were issued with fixed penalty notices.”
