A cottage in the Lake District is delighted to have been recognised as one of the best B&B's in the UK.

Haven Cottage in Ambleside has been recognised as a 2021 Travellers' Choice award winner for being the 5th best B&B in the UK and ranking 12th best in the world.

The achievement celebrates businesses that consistently deliver fantastic experiences to travellers across the globe, having earned great traveller reviews on Tripadvisor during the past 12 months.

Although the last year has been a challenging one for many, Haven Cottage stood out by continuously delighting their guests.

Owners Chris and Allie Hodgson said: "To say we are delighted with this award is an understatement. It has been a difficult year for all hospitality businesses, but whenever we have been open during the last 12 months, we have tried hard to keep guests safe, whilst also providing them with a relaxing and memorable holiday.

"The reviews we have received on Tripadvisor are hugely gratifying to read, and genuinely make all the hard work worthwhile.

"We put a huge emphasis on customer service with our guests. Ambleside and the Lake District are wonderful places, and we do whatever we can to help our guests get the most out of their visits to this lovely landscape.”
