A TREMENDOUS day on the Sheep Dog Field with a great entry of 38 dogs and pups at Bentham Sheepdog sale.
The sale was topped by Jean Howes, County Durham, at a new market record of 7200gns, with her two-year-old Bitch “Jess” sired by DJ Rees’ “Cap” out of R Shaw’s “Bet”.
Tony Birkett topped the pup section with his 13-week red and white dog pup at 3250gns, sired by Kevin Evans “Red Spot” and out of a home bred Bitch “Ruby.
