A STROKE and neurological group has welcomed the news that a new provider has been found to take over a care home.
Integrated Stroke and Neurorehabilitation Delivery Network Assurance Group has welcomed the news that St Gregory's Home has come forward to take over the running of Holehird Care Home in Windermere.
Chair of the patient and carer of the group Phil Woodford said: “I'd like to thank everyone involved in working to secure this transition to a new provider, it is incredible what can be achieved when people come together with a common purpose. As a stroke survivor myself I know how valuable such specialist care is."
St Gregory’s Homecare, Leonard Cheshire, the Holehird Trust and Tim Farron issued a joint statement on the future of the care home.
