PLANS have been approved to install a milk vending machine at an Ulverston farm.
South Lakeland District Council has given the thumbs up for High Roosebeck Farm in Goadsbarrow to install a milk vending machine for customers to enjoy milk produced on the farm.
The farm milks 120 cows and comprises of 260 acres of land.
According to the design and access statement, the vending machine would 'provide a service to local people, and passers-by, reducing food miles, contributing to reducing their carbon footprint."
