THE public has been invited to watch ospreys and learn more about the birds of prey at an event being held by a conservation charity.
Cumbria Wildlife Trust (CWT) is holding an 'osprey evening' at Foulshaw Moss Nature Reserve, between Grange and Levens.
A spokesman for the charity described the event as 'unmissable'.
The spokesman said: "Starting with a talk covering ospreys, their history within the UK and how Foulshaw Moss plays a part in the recovery of this once common species, followed by a guided walk to the viewing platform to see them for ourselves at the best time of the day!"
The event is taking place between 6 and 8pm on August 18.
The cost of a ticket is £10.
