EMERGENCY: The ambulance in Highgate
A WOMAN in her 20s was taken to hospital this morning following a medical emergency in Kendal town centre.
An ambulance was pictured outside Home Bargains in Highgate at around 9am.
A spokesman for the North West Ambulance Service said the casualty was taken to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
Regarding the nature of the incident, he said the woman was 'taken ill' and that it was a medical emergency.
