AN ICONIC duo will be bringing live music to an Ulverston venue next month.
Scottish folk duo Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham are providing an evening of traditional reels and jigs, lyrical ballads and witty banter as they take to the stage.
They will be performing at The Coro on October 1.
Having toured together since 1986 to packed concert halls all over the world, the double-act features the most significant fiddle player in the Celtic tradition today, Aly Bain.
They also have the world-famous accordion player, Phil Cunningham.
These masters of their craft draw together a deep knowledge and understanding of their folk tradition with effortless on-stage patter to create an intimate and jovial atmosphere almost unrivalled on the folk scene.
Tickets to the performance, which starts at 7.30pm, cost £16 plus a £1.84 booking fee per ticket.
