AN outdoor cinema experience is returning to Ulverston this weekend with three classic films.
Alfresco Flicks Outdoor Cinema returns to Ford Park in Ulverston this weekend with three classic films and accompanying live music and DJs.
The films showing this weekend are the Goonies, Rocketman and the Tim Burton classic, Beetlejuice.
All the films come with pre-show entertainment from the likes of Majestic Beetlemac, Kieran Day and The Native Cult.
The one-of-a-kind seven piece duo, Majestic Beetlemac, will be playing ahead of the Rocketman screening on Sunday.
The hot food menu will be provided by Masterchef contestant Mark Satterthwaite, former head chef at the multi-award winning Blacksmith’s Arms and drinks will be provided by the best local suppliers such as Ulverston Brewing, Whitewood Distilling and Hawkshead Brewery.
The event is raising money for a number of chosen charitable organisations including St Mary's Hospice, Ulverston Food Waste Project and the Well. A raffle will also be held to raise cash for the chosen charities.
