"WHY did the hedgehog cross the road?"
That is the question well-known ecologist and author Hugh Warwick will be answering at an event hosted by a conservation charity next month.
Mr Warwick, author of A Prickly Affair and Hedgehog, will be conducting the talk online.
A spokesman for Cumbria Wildlife Trust, which is hosting the event, said: "Hugh Warwick joins us to answer the eternal question, discussing the effect of habitat fragmentation on one of the UK’s favourite, and most vulnerable, species."
The digital event is taking place on Tuesday, October 5, and begins at 6.30pm.
It is expected to last around an hour and the public will be able to ask questions via a live chat.
