SLOW DOWN: Police issue speed warning
POLICE have told the public to 'check your speed' after issuing a reminder that children are back at school.
The message came as Cumbria Constabulary announced officers were today at Storth, between Arnside and Milnthorpe.
"Children are back at school," said a South Lakes Police spokesman.
"Some, along with other pedestrians, will be walking on roads with no paths.
"Whatever vehicle you are in - check your speed."
