RESCUE teams had just two inches of air space to find three missing cavers .
Cumbria Ore Mines Rescue Unit were called out by Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team following a report that three experienced cavers had gone missing.
A joint response from Teesdale Mountain Rescue Team, Cumbria Ore Mines Rescue Unit and Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team led to a search for the missing cavers.
After an extensive search and digging to lower the water level to gain two inches of air space, the cavers were located and brought out safe and well.
A spokesman for Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team said: "A good ending to a multi agency rescue."
