The Old Laundry Theatre in Bowness will open its doors once again to live audiences this autumn.
After a long 18 months, the theatre is coming back to life with a small autumn programme to begin with before opening more fully in the spring.
Fliss Pocock, theatre manager said: “It has been a difficult time for everyone, but government support has been an enormous help and as ever the theatre has relied heavily on the financial support given by The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction.
“We are so pleased to be welcoming audiences back in October and have been delighted with the response so far – I think people are really excited to be back in theatres after such a long time.”
The autumn season starts with Liz Grand (previous one-woman show ‘The Second Best Bed’) star in her new one-woman show where Is Mrs Christie? on Thursday, October 14 at 7.30pm.
