KENDAL Town FC Chairman Jay Rossi has stood down from the position.

The club have released a statement addressing the situation.

Kendal Town said: "Kendal Town Football Club can confirm that Jay Rossi has decided to stand down as the Clubs chairman.

"The Club would also like to confirm that Chris Humphrey has resigned as First Team Manager after he decided to take on the managers position at Penrith AFC.

"However, Alvin Finch has now taken on the role as Club Chairman while Jay will stay on as an advisor.

"We would like to thank both for their time in charge of the Club. However the Club are now taking applications for the First Team Managers job if anyone would like to take on the role please let us know."
