A CARNFORTH pub has said goodbye to the two models ducks that had been on the property for years.
The well-known Canal Turn Ducks came to the pub in 2018 to promote the business’ annual charity duck race.
The ducks will now be rehomed at the Chuckery Farm, which is a rescue centre for chicks and ducks.
Owner Bill Johnston said: "The Canal Turn Ducks initially arrived in 2018 to help promote our annual charity duck race and have done a great job.
“But they're getting on a bit and needed a new home where they'll get the love and attention they need. We'll miss them - but can't can't think of a better home for them than The Chuckery Farm rescue centre.
“We can't think of a more suitable home for them and wish them a Quacking future there.
“Thanks again to everyone for the likes, shares and offers - it's been impossible to reply to everyone individually.”
The ducks were transported on October 19 to their new home.
