FIVE STAR: Hygiene rating of popular bar revealed
BOWNESS-on-Windermere's Boaters Bar has been awarded with a five-star rating for health and hygiene by South Lakeland Food Hygiene.
The business, located on Windermere Quays, was credited by the health watchdog with having a 'very good' standard for food handling, cleanliness, and management of food safety.
The inspection took place on October 19, and the results were published eight days later.
The bar was given a five-star rating.
The business wrote on social media: “We are delighted with our five rating.
“Its great feeling to have outside auditors recognise our commitment & hard work we have undertaken to ensure everyone at Boaters is safe.”
