Hills of Corby HIll in Ambleside
THE food hygiene rating of an independent fuel retailer has been revealed.
Hills of Corby Hill in Lake Road, Ambleside underwent a food hygiene inspection on October 15.
Hills of Corby Hill are independent fuel retailers which buys and resells fuel from BP, using their branding in the process.
They run 12 sites in Cumbria, including Hills Garage in Ambleside and Hills Garage in Coniston.
The retailer received a top score by inspectors from South Lakeland District Council.
The site received a glowing report from inspectors, receiving a 'very good' for its hygienic food handling, a 'good' for its cleanliness and condition of the facilities and the building and another 'good' for the management of food safety.
