PARKING will be suspended on a number of streets during a Christmas festival this weekend.
Parking will be banned on a host of streets this Saturday and Sunday in Ulverston whilst Dickensian Christmas Festival takes place.
The affected streets include: King Street, Market Street, New Market Street, Brogden Street, Cross Street, Union Street, Benson Street, Theatre Street and Theatre Street car park.
A spokesman for Dickensian Festival said: "Please help the volunteers set up for Dickensian smoothly by ensuring your cars are not parked on these streets or Theatre St car park this weekend.
"We often have a handful who’ve forgotten and it causes delays and difficulties around the town and extra work for the police contacting the owners to remove them.
"Many thanks to everyone helping us with this."
