A MOTORIST was handed six points and given a £200 fine after driving without insurance.
South Lakes Proactive stopped and removed an uninsured vehicle from the roads of Kendal today.
The car was seized and the driver was given six points and a £200 fine.
Two other drivers were also handed tickets for driving whilst using their phones.
A police spokesman said: "We are around and will prosecute for these offences."
