Car given ticket for parking over town centre crossing
A DRIVER has been given a ticket for parking over a crossing in Kendal town centre today.
The police regarded the parking as dangerous and a blockage.
A South Lakes Police spokesman said: "Driver issued a ticket in Kendal Town Centre by South Lakes Proactive.
"The owner thought this was an acceptable parking space.
"This is dangerous and prevents a well used crossing from being used in the middle of the town centre."
