ULVERSTON will be welcoming the popular Ranagri rock band at the Water Yeat Village Hall.

The group will be attending the hall on December 10 at 8pm.

Ranagri produce an electrifying mix of virtuosic instrumentals, incredible melodies, vivid storytelling, and their unique take on old and new folk songs, using guitar, bouzouki, flutes, whistles, harps and drums.

The evening will also include a cabaret-style seating.

Vera Grant of the Village Hall said: “The Water Yeat Village Hall is a cosy intimate venue which provides comfortable cabaret-style seating.

“We are very lucky to have been able to book Ranagri, an outstanding band of four Irish and English musicians.

“They have recorded several studio albums, including, in 2015, The Great Irish Songbook with legend Tony Christie.”

Tickets for the event are available for £13 from www.wegottickets.com/wateryeatvillagehall.
