A community group in West Cumbria has been given funding by the national lottery to help them continue their work.
South Whitehaven Youth Project have been awarded £60,000 as part of their mission to help young people.
A spokesperson said: "Really happy to announce that we have been awarded £60,000 from Lottery Reaching Communities fund. This will support the youth work delivery across South Whitehaven over the next 3 years."
The grant will be given in three stages of £20,000 per year for three years with the hope that it will help young people to achieve positive outcomes.
