A COUNTRY Christmas market will be opening on Friday for one day only.
The Arnside country Christmas market will take place on December, 10 from 9.30am to 11.30am at the Women's Institute on Orchard Road, Arnside LA5 0DP.
The country market is a national market, that has been held for over 100 years with 250 market's across the UK.
The country Christmas market takes place every year as part of the weekly Arnside country market which promotes local produce including bakes, flowers and fruit and veg.
On what stalls will be on offer at the Christmas markets, Beverly Middleton, Arnside country Market said: "There are lots of items to buy including local home baking, seasonal preserves & fresh eggs, hand made chocolates, plants, seasonal vegetables, handcrafted cards and gifts, and knitting."
Anyone is welcome to go and visit the market stalls and they are free to attend and refreshments will be available.
