An impressive 92% of apprentices who successfully complete their Gen2 apprenticeship, progress immediately into full-time employment. The company are currently running a range of online open evenings and are joined by local employers who are looking to take on apprentices during 2022. The open evenings provide a range of information and the opportunity to take a virtual tour of the centres.

Amanda Towers, Gen2 managing director, said: “We have continued to see high demand for quality apprentices.  We work safely within the Government guidelines and have continued to deliver face to face training, enabling our learners to complete their apprenticeships.

“We are delighted this year that we have seen a steady demand from local employers for apprentices to start in 2022.  Our applications are now open and with some employer applications closing in February, now is the time to apply!”

Gen2 delivers from five training centres across the county, and in addition to apprenticeships they offer a range of business and industrial short courses, community learning programmes, traineeships and Bootcamps, both within Cumbria and across the UK.
