PLANS: Proposed plans to open a KFC drive thru in Kendal
A POPULAR fast food chain has revealed plans to open 500 new restaurants across the UK, including Kendal.
KFC which currently has 900 brances in the UK has shared its proposed plans for opening 500 new restaurants across locations in the UK.
Kendal made the list of new sites with a proposed drive thru in discussion.
However, there is no guarantee that restaurants will definitely pop up in each new site.
Kendal town centre previously had a KFC on Woolpack yard but it closed in 2019.
At the time, the company said it was looking for another location but a spokesman from KFC said there were no current plans to open a new site.
