A CHARITY is asking people to put on their trainers and get walking for a good cause.

The North West Air Ambulance will run the YouWalkWeFly campaign, which encourages people to walk every day for seven days.

From March 7 to March 13, they are asking people to walk 3.5 miles per day for a week to raise money for their vital and lifesaving service.

They don't receive any direct funding from the Government, so must find ways for the public to get behind what they do.

Operating 365 days a year, each flight costs them an average of £3,500 and they attend more than 1,000 missions per year.
