WINNER: Connor bought the egg from Booths in Kirkby Lonsdale
A BUDDING young footballer has found a Creme Egg worth a fortune.
Connor Dale, aged 13, has found a winning ticket worth £1,000 inside a Creme Egg.
The Morecambe football academy player bought the egg from Booths in Kirkby Lonsdale earlier this week.
The egg is half milk, half white chocolate and one of just four worth £1,000, hidden across Booths and Iceland stores.
Other eggs of different values are available in supermarkets up and down the country.
The top prize is £10,000.
Connor already plans to buy a new retro Morecambe shirt with his winnings.
