The organiser of Ulverston Music Festival has announced a quirky new addition for this summer's edition
Anthony Hewitt, Director of the Festival, which takes place from June 1 to June 8, said: "10 years ago to the day I set off on my 'Olympianist' cycle ride with my 'BeethoVan' as the support vehicle/pop-up recital venue.
"I am excited to announce the anniversary sequel, 'BeethoVan 2nd', an outdoor 'Vanue' for open-air concerts on the cobbled streets of Ulverston.
"There’s plenty going on indoors too: a fully-staged Bohème from English Touring Opera, and a celebratory choral concert on Coronation day conducted by Anastasia Micklethwaite with the music that was performed in the actual ceremony."
