Plan submitted for 'drinking establishment' at former department store
A planning application has been submitted for the change of use of a retail unit in Kendal’s former Beales store into a drinking establishment.
Plans would see the retail unit at 55, Finkle Street, Kendal- formally used by department store Beales- turned into a licensed premises.
An application to transform the second floor of 55, Finkle Street into a two-bedroom flat was submitted earlier this year.
