Sandwich van targeted by thieves
A generator was stolen from a sandwich van, said police.
Cumbria Police is investigating after the item was stolen from the business on the A591 near Staveley on March 31.
A force spokesman said: “Anyone with information about this incident can report online at www.cumbria.police.uk/reportit
“You can also phone on 101.
“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
Police also reported that a group of ‘youngsters’ have been ‘causing concern’ in the village’s Mill Yard.
They said the situation is being monitored.
