DRIVERS may have seen some unusual road users this morning (May 24).
Two swans held up traffic as they made their way to Kendal with their brood of cygnets on the A591, near Prizet garage.
A member of the Friends of the Lake District managed to snap a picture of the birds, who were able to pass the busy road safely.
The Friends of the Lake District member said: “One of the reasons I was late today – there was a traffic jam on the A591 coming into Kendal which turned out to be caused by this family…. Someone kindly held up the traffic to let them pass.”
