Ferry back in service following maintenance work
A VITAL ferry service is back in service following an 'issue' this morning.
On Wednesday, May 25 the Windermere Ferry was out of service for 'essential maintenance'. Later that day the ferry was up and running.
This morning, Windermere Ferry announced that the ferry had developed an issue which needed checking by an engineer before resuming service.
Just before 1pm, the Windermere Ferry team tweeted: "The Ferry is now back in service, sorry for any inconvenience."
