THE full line-up of comics who will grace Planet Mirth - Ulverston's comedy club - during Another Fine Fest has been released.

The club is located at the 100 capacity Laurel & Hardy museum. Several gigs each year play host to the very best names on the stand-up circuit.

All shows are free but include a donation bucket to 'pay as you feel' if you enjoy the show.

There will also be food stalls, singers and free shows throughout this week.

Some of the country’s top comedians will be giving an exclusive sneak peek of their new Edinburgh Fringe shows, ahead of their month-long stint in the Scottish capital.

On Saturday, from 12-1pm, Eddie Fortune will perform his adult-themed show on sex. 

Keith Carter and Ruth Cockburn will be on the stage as a duo too. Keith is a comic and writer for BBC & Sky, while he has supported Ricky Gervais, Russell Brand and Johnny Vegas. Ruth is a comic and playwright nominated for best solo show at The Leicester Comedy Festival.

From 3-4pm, Eddy Brimson, who was nominated for Best Event at Edinburgh's 2019 festival, will be taking to the stage, performing a new one man play from this award winning comedian, best selling author and critically acclaimed playwright.

On Saturday, Raul Kohli, described by chaser Paul Sinha as 'inspiringly intelligent', will 'Make It Up As He Goes Along', while Rich Wilson, a comic who has had names such as James Acaster, Tom Allen, Romesh Ranganathan and David Baddiel on his podcast, will grace the stage.

The following areas are subject to an official road closure order: Brogden Street, New Market Street and Market Street down to Lloyds Bank - 8am until 8pm - Saturday and Sunday

Market Place - 8am until 11pm - Saturday & 8am until 8pm Sunday

Brogden Street (Roxy to Post Office Yard) 8am Saturday until 8pm Sunday

Theatre Street car park will also be closed from 6pm Thursday until 8pm Sunday
