A SOUTH Lakeland recycling centre is to be temporarily shut at the end of this month, the county council has announced.
The closure at Kendal household waste recycling centre will allow resurfacing work to take place.
The site at Canal Head North, off Little Aynam, is to shut at 8.30am on Monday, June 27, and reopen at 8.30am on June 30.
"We ask that residents hold on to their waste until the site reopens," said a county council spokesman.
