JUMP: Police warn jumpers will be 'dealt with accordingly'
SOUTH Lakes Police have warned people caught jumping off Kirkby Lonsdale's Devil's Bridge will be 'dealt with accordingly'.
The bridge is known as a popular spot for people to visit but often reports are made of people jumping off the bridge into the waters below.
Several people have been injured over the years at the site.
Police wrote on social media: "We are saddened to be getting reports of people jumping from Devils Bridge in Kirkby Lonsdale.
"Officers will continue to attend and persons breaking the byelaw will be dealt with accordingly.
"Help us help you."
