A MOTORIST is due to appear in court charged with driving over the legal limit for alcohol.
Andrew Williams is alleged to have driven a Vauxhall Astra in Priory Road in Ulverston while over the drink driving limit.
The 33-year-old, of Genshiels Avenue, Hoddlesdon, Darwen, is said to have driven with 78 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeding the prescribed limit of 35 microgrammes per millilitre.
He is due to appear in South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on Monday charged with the offence.
