The Roxy Cinema has an art-deco theatre hall
THE Roxy Cinema in Ulverston will be putting on special presentations this month alongside their usual cinema showings.
This will include Andre Rieu: Happy Days are Here Again performed in Maastrict over the summer. This will be shown on Saturday August 27 at 7.15pm, and Sunday August 28 at 2pm.
Prima Facie, a National Theatre play starring Jodie Comer, will be shown at the Roxy on Thursday August 4 at 7.35pm, Sunday August 7 at 5.pm and Wednesday August 10 at 7.45pm.
Classic musical The Rocky Horror Picture Show will be shown on Thursday August 11 at 7.45pm.
The Roxy Cinema is an art-deco theatre run by the small-chain Northern Morris Cinemas. In Cumbria, they also own the Royalty in Bowness.
