MOTORISTS have been urged to avoid Fairmile Road near Sedbergh following a coach becoming stuck on Carlingill Bridge this afternoon (August 6).
The coach became stuck whilst trying to manoeuvre a tight turn.
A specialist recovery vehicle will be required to recover the vehicle and the road is likely to be closed for a number of hours.
The incident was reported at 1.50 pm, and the road is closed between the junction with Four Lane Ends to the South and the A685 to the North.
Traffic will be diverted to the A685 and B6257, or via the A684 and M6.
