A man who died in a collision on the A66 near Stainton on Friday has been named as Jack Buckingham of Penrith.
Mr Buckingham died following a road traffic collision. Moments prior to the collision, Mr Buckingham had left his vehicle after it had broken down on the A66.
The family would like to extend their thanks to all those at the scene who gave their help and support in particular the motorist who assisted Mrs Buckingham at the scene.

A Cumbria Police spokesperson said: "Police would like to speak to any motorists that may have witnessed the collision in particular the driver of a white DAF Skip HGV carrying a green and yellow skip and the driver of a white mini bus containing a Scouts group who may be able to assist collision investigators."
