POLICE have stepped up patrols on a Kendal estate after ‘ongoing issues’ of youths climbing on a church roof.
Cumbria Police said there had been issues at Sandylands Methodist Church with youths climbing on the roof and ‘hanging around’ the premises and causing damage including graffiti.
A police spokesman said: “There have been ongoing issues at Sandylands Methodist Church where there have been youths climbing on the roof and hanging around the premises causing littering and minor damage ie. graffiti and wall damage.
“Kendal PCSOs are on regular patrols in the area but are keen to hear from anyone that sees or knows who these young people are.
“Please quote log July 4, 2022.”
