POLICE are appealing for information after a man tried to snatch a handbag from a shopper at a Kendal supermarket.
The attempted theft occurred in the Morrisons supermarket on Sunday (March 2) when the male passenger of a silver Audi, which was not displaying registration plates, tried to steal the bag from a trolley near the entrance to the store.
Anyone with information is asked to call PC Sexton at Kendal police on 0845-3300-247.
