Nearly two years after work began, the new Low and High Newton bypass will be officially opened tomorrow (Tuesday).
The Westmorland Gazette video team took a sneaky trip along the 4.8km route with the scheme's environmental co-ordinator, Nigel Rockliff, who pointed out some of the initiatives that have helped reduce the impact of the new A590 addition on local wildlife.
