KENDAL will soon be welcoming musician Matt Deighton to the Brewery Arts Centre on December 7.
Mother Earth vocalist, iconic solo folk musician, and subject of the Sky Arts documentary 'Overshadowed', Matt Deighton, is bringing his discography to Brewery Arts.
“Expect some stripped-down familiar songs and some new ones from next year’s album”, said Deighton
Deighton began making a name for himself in the nineties as the guitarist and vocalist in the popular acid jazz band, Mother Earth.
“I haven’t played in the Lake District ever, so it’ll be special for me as my heart is in the countryside the hills,” said Deighton.
Scottish singer-songwriter and Rough Trade recording artist Samantha Whates will be support for the show.
Matt Deighton plays Brewery Arts on 7 December at 7:30pm.
Tickets can be bought from breweryarts.co.uk and students get 20% discount at this show.
