A COUPLE were so keen to go to Kendal Calling they went straight from their wedding still dressed in their outfits.
Bride and groom Emma and Russ Fisher went to the Lowther Estate after the ceremony.
The Fishers met 13 years before they married. When asked how they met, Russ said: "She was a barmaid in a pub, and I drank there! Like all good love stories start."
Emma said: "We got married with us, our kids, our parents, our best friends, and we came here."

Russ said: "I emailed Kendal Calling to say can we have a bottle of champagne in the tent? I just thought it'd be nice to get there and have a bottle of champagne. They've been ace and just been giving us all kinds we've got VIP green room tickets."
Both Russ and Emma agreed that everyone should get married before they go to a festival.
Afterwards, the organisers took Emma and Russ to the side of the stage to see CHIC and Nile Rogers perform, and Emma met the members of the indie-band Scouting for Girls.
