EMERGENCY service crews in South Cumbria collectively helped to rescue a woman from a vehicle yesterday afternoon.
Sedbergh Fire Station were mobilised to reports of a car that had crashed and landed into a shallow stream on May 17.
Upon their arrival, they discovered a woman was trapped inside the vehicle.
Working alongside another crew from Lancaster as well as NWAS and Lancashire Police, the female casualty was eventually released safely.
Sedbergh Fire Station thanked an ex-firefighter from Bentham Fire Station, now working as a lorry driver for Myers Building Supplies for stabilising the vehicle prior to the emergency services arrival on scene.
