A FIRE crew had a 'busy' 24 hours with four callouts.
Milnthorpe Fire Station shared on their social media that the first shout started on Monday, May 20 5.02pm.
The crew was called to an automatic fire alarm in Kirkby Lonsdale.
The second shout was heard on the way back to the station. The crew were called to a fire in the open near Milton but turned out to be a controlled burn.
At 10.11pm the crew were called to another fire in the open in Burton in Kendal which was also a controlled burn.
The last shout was received yesterday, May 21at 9.14pm to a fire in the open near Whasset. This again turned out to be a controlled burn.
A spokesperson for the team said: "If you are planning on having a controlled burn (bonfire) please consider contacting Noth West Fire Control to advise that you are going to be burning and give a location to help reduce the number of false alarm call outs to controlled burns."
