Kendal firm, PPC Geeks Ltd, has earned a spot on the prestigious UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list for 2024.
The announcement, made by Great Place To Work® UK, ranked PPC Geeks among the top organisations nationally for their commitment to promoting staff wellbeing.
PPC Geeks has been recognised for creating a supportive and healthy work environment.
A standout feature of their care for employees is the "Wellbeing First" initiative, which was introduced in early 2022.
This policy covers flexible working hours, mental health support and continuous professional development, and has made a significant impact on work-life balance and job satisfaction.
Ranking on the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list is determined by exhaustive analysis of employee surveys conducted by Great Place To Work culture experts.
These surveys examine all aspects of work-life balance, job satisfaction, financial security and overall sense of fulfilment at work, painting a good picture of employee wellbeing.
According to a recent Trust Index survey, the effectiveness of their wellbeing initiatives is clear.
A staggering 90 per cent of staff reported high levels of job satisfaction, and 85 per cent experienced a strong sense of fulfilment in their roles.
Additionally, employee testimonials have praised the accessible mental health resources and the flexible work options offered by the company.
Benedict Gautrey, managing director of Great Place To Work UK, said: "Wellbeing, engagement, and trust between employees are critical ingredients to successful workplace culture.
"Now in our third year of the UK's Best Workplaces for Wellbeing™ list, we’re able to showcase the leading UK organisations providing environments conducive to outstanding psychological, physical, financial, and social wellbeing.
"It’s no secret that by ensuring employees feel genuinely trusted and cared for, they are much healthier, productive, and committed to the mission and purpose of the organisation.
"Congratulations to PPC Geeks for making this prestigious list!"
The co-founder of PPC Geeks, Dan Trotter, said: "Our inclusion in the UK’s Best Workplaces for Wellbeing List is a testament to our ongoing efforts to prioritise the health and happiness of our team.
