A CLOSURE notice has been served on a property in Penrith after an 'extensive' period of anti-social behaviour.
Eden Neighbourhood Policing Team issued a closure notice on the property yesterday, September 4 which will be in force for 48 hours.
The police are set to seek a full closure notice on the property at Magistrates Court which if granted will be in place at the property for up to three months.
In a statement on social media, Eden police said: "Following extensive anti-social behaviour and disorder, Eden Neighbourhood Policing Team have, today, served a Closure Notice on an address at Castle Court, Penrith.
"For the next 48 hours, only the occupant can be present at the property. Anybody else entering the property will be committing a criminal offence and will be liable to arrest.
"Officers will now be seeking a full closure order on the property at Magistrates Court, which if granted, will prevent anybody being at the address for up to 3 months."
