A retired police dog has been praised for her service in helping to keep Cumbria safe.
The Cumbria Police Dog Section announced the retirement of PD Darcy on social media last night (September 25).
The post read: "It’s time for PD Darcy to put her paws up and hang up her working harness.
"We wish Darcy a long and happy retirement and thank her for her time with us."
