Police are looking for a number of bikes which were stolen from private property earlier this month.
South Lakes Police are investigating the theft of four bikes from a secure shed in Bolefoot at Oxenholme.
They were taken sometime between Friday November 15 and Wednesday November 20.
The bikes are:
• A Trek Remedy 7. It is described as: dark red, small size, with blue crank brothers pedals and a stem cap that says: ‘Anna - you’ve totally got this’. It has a female spec Sam Hill Oil Slick saddle.
• A Cannondale Topstone 3. It is described as graphite in colour, small size, with flared Alpkit bars with green tape, silver Nukeproof Spd pedals and a female spec Bontrager saddle.
• A Trek Remedy 8. Graphite in colour, size medium. It has a Rockshox sticker on the front right fork, covering a scrape. It has turquoise Nukeproof flat pedals.
• A Canyon Grizl. It is yellow/green, small size. It has black flat Spd pedals and tan wall tyres.
Anyone with information or has seen the bikes can report online - quoting incident 17 of November 20.

To prevent other cases of bike theft, officers have put together a list of tips to keep your bicycle safe and secure:
* Always lock your bike wherever you leave it.
* Always lock your bike to something immovable.
* Be vigilant at home and keep your bike out of the sight of prying eyes.
* Register your bike frame number.
* Secure your social media settings before you post online about your latest ride to prevent thieves targeting your location.
